ACF Position Statement on ACCE 2006 Agenda

The Advisory Council of Faculty (ACF) supports of the Advisory Council of Classified Staff (ACCE) and their 2006 legislative agenda. At our February 3 meeting in Charleston, we voted unanimously to assert this support for our ACCE colleagues. We recognize the crucial importance of the staff and their contribution to higher education, and we are cognizant that our own work as faculty could not happen without their good work.

Their issues, which have been presented already to LOCEA, to the HEPC, and to the CTC Council, are in many cases consistent with our own, particularly their funding concerns, and the faculty would like to go on record to express our solidarity.
